Minneota dropped down to 17-4 on Thursday, ending the team's 11-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Canby Lancers by a score of 3-2. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

As for Canby, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted since September 6th.

Jaryn Houseman was nothing short of spectacular: she had 25 digs. That's the most digs she has posted since back in September. Karlie Wollum also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Minneota is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canby will challenge rival Yellow Medicine East at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
