Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carthage). They walked away with a 55-44 victory over the Immaculate Heart Central Cavaliers on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Comets: when they faced off against the Cavaliers back in December of 2024, they had to take a 42-34 defeat.

The win got Carthage back to even at 3-3. As for Immaculate Heart Central, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-5.

Carthage will venture away from home to challenge Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carthage is facing Watertown at the right time seeing as Watertown is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. Immaculate Heart Central has already played their next match (against General Brown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
