Basketball Recap: Kaneland Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Kaneland couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 40-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses on Tuesday. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Dukes & Duchesses recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Kaneland's loss dropped their record down to 24-10. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-5 record this season.

Kaneland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dixon, they will face off against Sterling at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
