Rock Island has gone a perfect 10-0 against Galesburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rocks will square off against the Silver Streaks at 6:00 p.m. Rock Island's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rock Island fought the good fight in their overtime contest against East Moline United on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 2-1. Alex Torres was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Rock Island's goal came courtesy of Lawson Zulu, who's now up to 12 this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in August, Galesburg was forced to settle for a draw on Monday. They and Orion/Sherrard finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Galesburg's draw gives them a new season record of 7-9-2. As for Rock Island, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.

Rock Island beat Galesburg by a goal in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rocks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
