Basketball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

Ringling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 53-42 to the Waurika Eagles. The Blue Devils were probably out for revenge after losing 53-40 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ringling's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Waurika, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ringling will challenge Central at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ringling surely won't give up without a fight. As for Waurika, they will host Empire at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
