Volleyball Game Preview: Deerfield Warriors vs. New Trier Trevians

The Deerfield Warriors will face off against the New Trier Trevians at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Deerfield came up short against Glenbrook North and fell 2-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Deerfield was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, New Trier was able to grind out a solid victory over Evanston on Monday, taking the game 2-0. The Trevians haven't had any issues with the Wildkits recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 26-24.

Deerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for New Trier, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3.
