Basketball Recap: Lyle/Pacelli Takes a Loss

Lyle/Pacelli was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 62-58 heartbreaker at the hands of the Grand Meadow Superlarks. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (56), the Athletics still had to take the loss.

Lyle/Pacelli's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Grand Meadow, with the victory, they broke their 18-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lyle/Pacelli will venture away from home to face off against Spring Grove at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Meadow will take on LeRoy-Ostrander in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Grand Meadow is facing LeRoy-Ostrander at the right time seeing as LeRoy-Ostrander is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
