Northwest Halifax extended their losing streak  to three  on Saturday, dropping them down to 3-4. They came up short against  the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans, falling  46-20. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the  44-8 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2024.
 Northwest Halifax lost  despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was   Julius Rook, who rushed for 111 yards and one  touchdown on only five carries. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jamel Bowser, who rushed for 93 yards and one  score.
As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 40.8 points over those games.
  Star'Saun Taylor had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 37 yards and a pair of  TDs, and also threw for 85 yards and a pair of  touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. What's more,  he racked up 148.4  passer rating, the most he's  had since back in November of 2024.
 Northwest Halifax has already played their next game,  a  34-6  loss against Northampton County on the 17th. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  50-0  defeat against KIPP P on the 17th.
