Ringgold put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 victory over the Heritage Generals. Several Generals players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cody Bryan, who picked up 180 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Heritage also relied on Bryan, who's 56-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game. Heritage also got a significant boost from Brayden Slaughter, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 87 yards.
Ringgold's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Heritage, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
