Basketball Recap: Green Run Takes a Loss

Green Run lost against Grassfield on December 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Green Run Stallions took a hard 46-32 fall against the Grassfield Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Grizzlies are ranked 46th).

Green Run's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Grassfield, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-1.

Green Run will take on NC GBB Academy National in a tournament on January 4, 2025. As for Grassfield, they will square off against Trinity Episcopal at 3:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
