Flag Football Recap: Mary Persons Triumphs + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbus, Mary Persons was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Central Chargers by a score of 12-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Olivia Crews threw for 189 yards and one TD. Halle Rozier was her top target, picking up 61 receiving yards.

Mary Persons has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.8 points on average over those games. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Mary Persons didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-6 victory against Jordan on the 10th. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-12 win against Northeast on the 12th.
