Volleyball Recap: McCallum Gets the Win

After losing to Ellison the last time they met, McCallum decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Tiara Cooks was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs and two aces.

Cooks wasn't the only good server: McCallum was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last eight matchups.

McCallum's record is now 9-6. As for Ellison, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

McCallum wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against McNeil on the 22nd. As for Ellison, they will head out on the road to square off against Lockhart at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
