Softball Recap: Seguin Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Seguin can now relate to. They lost 13-3 to the Leander Lions on Friday. The Matadors haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Seguin's defeat dropped their record down to 22-14-1. As for Leander, the win (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 32-5-1.

While Seguin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
