Basketball Game Preview: River Ridge Knights vs. Milton Eagles

The River Ridge Knights will square off against the Milton Eagles on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with River Ridge sitting on 26 straight wins and Milton on 11.

River Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They really took it to New Manchester for the full four quarters, racking up an 80-44 victory. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Milton beat Brunswick 69-56 on Tuesday.

Milton's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for River Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 29-1.

River Ridge beat Milton 62-52 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Will River Ridge repeat their success, or does Milton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
