Alex Barnes ran for two touchdowns and
Ty Johnson added two as well as
Fort Hill (Cumberland, Md.) beat Surrattsville (Clinton, Md.) 42-0 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Johnson touchdown run in the first quarter, the Sentinels led 35-0 at the half.
Fort Hill grew its lead to 42 points entering the fourth quarter. FH scored once in the quarter on an Barnes touchdown run.
A big 28-point second quarter helped the Cumberland school secure the win. The Sentinels rushed for four touchdowns on the ground during the quarter, including one by Johnson.
Fort Hill had given up an average of 10.5 points prior to the contest. Surrattsville's zero points were well below their season average of 27.7 per game.
The loss comes after Surrattsville defeated Sparrows Point 36-28 last week. The loss snapped Surrattsville's two-game winning streak.
