Recap: Buckhorn Bucks vs. Hazel Green Trojans
The Buckhorn Bucks won the last time they faced the Hazel Green Trojans, and things went their way on Friday too. Buckhorn came out on top against Hazel Green by a score of 51-41. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Buckhorn.
Hazel Green's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jalen Bright, who scored 13 points, and Tj Pruitt who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds. The game was Bright's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Buckhorn has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Hazel Green, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckhorn will be home for the holidays to greet Sparkman at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
