Southview posted their closest win since May 20, 2025 on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ross Little Giants, sneaking past 4-3. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 6-3 victory the Little Giants walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2025.

Southview's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Ross, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Southview will have a chance to go back-to-back against Ross: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
