Volleyball Recap: Philip Simmons Extends Winning Streak to Three

Philip Simmons had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Summerville Green Wave.

Philip Simmons easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17.

Catherine Futch was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and one assist.

Philip Simmons' victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Summerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Philip Simmons will be playing at home against Hanahan at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Summerville, they will square off against Wando at 6:30 p.m. on September 4.
