Basketball Recap: Pascagoula Takes a Loss

Pascagoula and West Jones squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Pascagoula had to settle for second. They came up short against the West Jones Mustangs, falling 58-33. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Mustangs are ranked 26th).

Pascagoula has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for West Jones, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 25-4.

As of now, neither Pascagoula nor West Jones have any future games scheduled.
