Baseball Game Preview: Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization Eagles vs. South Wake Sabres

The Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization Eagles will take on the South Wake Sabres in a tournament on Friday.

Ellis County Christian Homeschool Organization picked up another tournament win on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against South Wake, sneaking past 3-2.

For South Wake's part, they got a good showing from Andrew Clevenger, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest earned runs Clevenger has allowed since back in April of 2024.

On the hitting side, Seth Kirk was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season.
