Basketball Recap: Griswold Comes Up Short

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Griswold was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They were beaten by the Nixyaawii Community Eagles 90-28. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Eagles are ranked 22nd).

Griswold has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Nixyaawii Community, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.

Griswold will take on Imbler at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Nixyaawii Community has already played their next match (against Echo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
