Baseball Recap: Indian Springs Victorious

Indian Springs's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Fairfield Tigers 7-5.

The team relied heavily on Timothy Katz, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February. Dylan Heald was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.

Indian Springs hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fairfield struck out 13 times.

Indian Springs' win bumped their record up to 8-9-1. As for Fairfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Indian Springs will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
