Aletheia Christian Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Lighthouse Baptist Academy Ambassadors 70-34 on Thursday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 46-45 loss the last time these two teams met.

Aletheia Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Dickson, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 14 points in addition to seven assists and six rebounds. Those seven assists gave Dickson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonah Wipf, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 13 points.

Aletheia Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
