Basketball Recap: Williamstown Takes a Loss

Williamstown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 70-31 defeat at the hands of the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils.

Williamstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Williamstown will take on Gloucester County Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against St. Michael the Archangel at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Michael the Archangel's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.
