Volleyball Recap: Sparta Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Sparta had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tri County Area Vikings. The Spartans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Sparta never let Tri County Area on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-17.

Coming up, Sparta will head out to face off against Wyoming at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri County Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ravenna on the 21st.
