Flint River Academy Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to Sully Jones

Sully Jones was instrumental in extending Flint River Academy's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Jones turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also picking up 48 receiving yards.

Flint River Academy's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Jones and Flint River Academy will head out to take on Rock Springs Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brandt Washington Crosses Big Stat Threshold

Brandt Washington continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 125 rushing yards. He rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 72 yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (108.1).

With the defeat, Rock Springs Christian Academy broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-1. Washington and Rock Springs Christian Academy will take on Flint River Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jayden Watts Delivers Best Effort of Season

Flint River Academy picked up their 20th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jayden Watts. Watts turned in his biggest game of the season, rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Those 66 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

For the year, Watts has averaged 6.1 passing yards per game.

Joshua Mcdaniel Makes It Two for Rock Springs Christian Academy

The second Rock Springs Christian Academy player making an appearance here is Joshua Mcdaniel, and for good reason. He picked up 44 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Creekside Christian Academy had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Mcdaniel it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Mcdaniel saw Creekside Christian Academy), he rushed for 222 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.7 yards per carry.

Sims Came Up Big in Windsor Academy's 14-8 Defeat

Rounding off our Top Five is Dawson Sims of Windsor Academy. Sims picked up 1.5 sacks and made nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Windsor Academy is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Sims and Windsor Academy will head out to challenge Heritage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
