Baseball Recap: Lyman Memorial Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lyman Memorial can now relate to. They lost 7-0 to the Woodland Regional Hawks on Monday. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Lyman Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Woodland Regional, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Lyman Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woodland Regional, they will square off against Valley Regional at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
