Baseball Recap: Maritime Academy Charter Drops Highest Score of Season Against South Philadelphia

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maritime Academy Charter). They came out on top against the South Philadelphia Rams by a score of 19-15 on Friday. With that win, the Seadogs brought their scoring average up to 7.1 runs per game.

Maritime Academy Charter got a massive performance out of Jayriel Arroyo, who went 4-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. Arroyo is becoming a predictor of the Seadogs' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-5 when he doesn't). Yariel Santiago-Campos was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.
