Recap: Logan Chieftains vs. Reynoldsburg Raiders
The Logan Chieftains's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 50-42 to Reynoldsburg. Logan has not had much luck with Reynoldsburg recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Logan's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Makenzie Daubenmire, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Daubenmire is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ryann Landis was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Logan has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Reynoldsburg, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Tri-Valley at 8:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Reynoldsburg will be home for the holidays to greet Newark at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Newark is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
