Soccer Recap: North Central Takes a Loss

If North Central was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Ben Davis on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers came up short against the Lawrence North Wildcats on Monday, falling 3-0. North Central were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Lawrence North earlier this season, when they won 4-2.

North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lawrence North, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-2-1.

Coming up, North Central will challenge Lawrence Central at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. North Central will be up against Lawrence Central's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lawrence North, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 9-0 win against Speedway on the 24th.
