The Lighthouse Christian Chargers will face off against the Pleasant Hope Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Pleasant Hope took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lighthouse Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Lighthouse Christian earned an 8-5 victory over Seymour.

The team relied heavily on Paxton Bridges, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Elam, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Pleasant Hope's offense. They came up short against Fordland on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lighthouse Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Pleasant Hope now has a losing record of 1-2.
