Jackson-Olin hasn't had much luck against Huffman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Jackson-Olin Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Huffman Vikings at 5:00 p.m. Jackson-Olin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Jackson-Olin is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They fell 15-10 to Parker.

Jackson-Olin got a massive performance out of DaTrell Evans, who scored a run and stole Five bases. while going 2-for-5. Evans also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Ricky Bell was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Huffman was a bit more limited in their game last Saturday. They came up short against Parker, falling 11-2.

Huffman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mekhidric Jackson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Dylan Craig, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-2.

Huffman dropped their record down to 5-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Jackson-Olin, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Jackson-Olin couldn't quite get it done against Huffman in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 10-6. Can Jackson-Olin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
