San Antonio Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hallettsville Brahmas.

San Antonio Christian was led to victory by Sydney Smith and Mary Ellen Sturm. Smith had nine digs and five aces, while Sturm had 20 assists and seven digs. That's the most aces Smith has posted since back in September of 2024.

They weren't the only good server: San Antonio Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

The victory got San Antonio Christian back to even at 6-6. As for Hallettsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
