Baseball Game Preview: St. Joseph Christian Lions vs. North Harrison Shamrocks

The St. Joseph Christian Lions will head out to square off against the North Harrison Shamrocks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Harrison took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Joseph Christian, who comes in off a win.

St. Joseph Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against East Buchanan on Tuesday as they made off with a 15-3 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their two-run performance the match before.

Meanwhile, North Harrison came up short against Putnam County on Wednesday, falling 21-11. The Shamrocks have struggled against the Midgets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

St. Joseph Christian is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for North Harrison, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything went St. Joseph Christian's way against North Harrison in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, as St. Joseph Christian made off with a 13-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
