Anderson was the 9-1 winner over Taylor when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Titans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Anderson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jagger Meller, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Anderson's loss dropped their record down to 20-8. As for Taylor, their record now sits at 7-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson will challenge Salem at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Taylor, they will take on Carlson at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
