It was fun while it lasted, but Cromwell's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They fell to the North Branford Thunderbirds 48-44. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Cromwell's loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1. As for North Branford, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Cromwell will take on Thomaston at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Branford, they will square off against Old Saybrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
