Basketball Recap: Mountlake Terrace's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Mountlake Terrace was the 58-56 winner over Marysville Getchell when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Mountlake Terrace Hawks fell 62-51 to Marysville Getchell on Tuesday.

Arion Palacol was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 20 on his way to 21 points and five steals for Marysville Getchell. Palacol is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Mariano Palacol was another key player, putting up eight points.

Mountlake Terrace's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2. As for Marysville Getchell, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Mountlake Terrace wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-56 win against Meadowdale on the 20th. As for Marysville Getchell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 88-83 loss against Redmond on the 19th.
