Basketball Recap: Mt. Pleasant Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mt. Pleasant played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Community Vikings/Viqueens, falling 68-33. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Vikings/Viqueens apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Loss or not, Mt. Pleasant got some senior leadership from Jayden McClure and Zion Hollis. McClure shot 50% from the field to rack up 12 points, while Hollis posted six points.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Community, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Mt. Pleasant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 67-44 win against Battle Creek on the 25th. As for Community, they are taking a road trip to face off against Eagleville at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
