They had to suffer through a 61-19 loss at the hands of Big Bay de Noc. Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter has struggled against Big Bay de Noc recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Mackinac Island hadn't done well against Mackinaw City recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Mackinac Island walked away with a 48-36 victory over Mackinaw City. The Lakers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter better focus on containing Lakelyn Bunker and Madison Gamble as the pair were huge in Mackinac Island's win. Bunker dropped a double-double on 23 points and 21 boards, while Gamble dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bunker a new career-high in rebounds.
