Baseball Recap: Open Door Christian Patriots vs. Columbia Raiders
Open Door Christian won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They fell victim to a tough 16-1 loss at the hands of the Columbia Raiders. Open Door Christian has not had much luck with Columbia recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Open Door Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Reed, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Open Door Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

As for Columbia, they will be playing at home against Oberlin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Columbia will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
