Basketball Recap: Christian Fenger Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Fenger Academy lost against Morgan Park back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Christian Fenger Academy Titans took a 65-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan Park Mustangs.

It was another big night for Nasir Rankin, who to rack up 21 points and five steals for Morgan Park. That's the most steals Rankin has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Bryan McGill, who put up 11 points.

Christian Fenger Academy's loss dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Morgan Park, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-12.

Christian Fenger Academy has already played their next match, a 58-54 victory against Thornwood on the 19th. As for Morgan Park, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 55-48 defeat against Brooks on the 15th.
