Basketball Recap: Fort Dorchester Comes Up Short

Fort Dorchester saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keenan Raiders. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Fort Dorchester lost, don't look at Antonia Strothers. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Clarke, who had seven points and three steals.

Fort Dorchester now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Keenan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Fort Dorchester will be playing in front of their home fans against Laurens at 3:15 p.m. on December 30th. Keenan and Bishop England will round out the year against one another at at 1:45 p.m. on December 30th.
