Valley put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Central of Clay County Volunteers. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cole House was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Matthew McDonald also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Valley pushed their record up to 5-0 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Central of Clay County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Valley will be playing at home against Childersburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central of Clay County, they will head out on the road to take on Munford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
