Basketball Recap: Bamberg-Ehrhardt Comes Up Short

Bamberg-Ehrhardt lost against Denmark-Olar back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders were beaten by the Denmark-Olar Vikings 67-36.

Kalen Mayes was her usual excellent self, putting up 23 points and four steals for Denmark-Olar. Mayes is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aveion Walker, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and five steals.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt's defeat dropped their record down to 20-3. As for Denmark-Olar, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Looking ahead, Bamberg-Ehrhardt will head out to challenge Allendale-Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Denmark-Olar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
