Basketball Recap: Jamie Maddy's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dayton over Kingwood Park

Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 48-37 to the Kingwood Park Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-35 back in January.

Several Broncos players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamie Maddy, who posted nine points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was A'Zerian Fields, who earned nine points.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Kingwood Park, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-8.

Dayton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 25-23 victory against Pasadena on the 31st. As for Kingwood Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 36-35 win against Porter on the 31st.
