Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Zion Eagles vs. Ranburne Bulldogs

The Mt. Zion Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Ranburne Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Mt. Zion is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Bremen on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Eagles came up short against the Blue Devils, falling 74-53.

Meanwhile, Ranburne put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They strolled past Ohatchee with points to spare, taking the game 54-38.

Mt. Zion's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ranburne, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Things could have been worse for Mt. Zion, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-41 loss to Ranburne in their previous meeting on November 11th. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
