Softball Recap: Lexington Falls Short of Seneca in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lexington can now relate to. They came up short against the Seneca Fighting Irish on Friday, falling 9-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Minutemen's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lexington's loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Seneca, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 33-1.

Lexington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seneca, they will welcome Coal City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
