St. Augustine won the last time they faced Palatka and things went their way on Thursday too. The St. Augustine Yellow Jackets walked away with a 9-4 win over the Palatka Panthers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.
Jordan Petty was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Petty was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Augustine will challenge Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palatka, they will square off against Providence School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
