Northwest Guilford put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their undefeated season alive. Their defense stepped up to hand the Ragsdale Tigers a 2-0 shutout. Northwest Guilford have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Ragsdale, too.

Ella Nguyen and Morgan Stallings scored both of Northwest Guilford's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Northwest Guilford pushed their record up to 7-0-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Ragsdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4 record this season.
