It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mishawaka Marian can now relate to. They lost 11-4 to the New Prairie Cougars on Thursday. The Knights have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Mishawaka Marian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cole Hundt, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mishawaka Marian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-18. As for New Prairie, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-9.
